John A. St. Cyr, MD, PhD, a retired cardiovascular surgeon, received his B.A., B.S., M.S., M.D., and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN. He completed his General Surgical Training at the University of Minnesota and completed his Cardiovascular Surgical Fellowship Training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, CO.
Dr. St.Cyr has extensive research credentials, is widely published, has received numerous local and national research grants, has numerous patents in various fields of interest, and has presented at both national and international meetings. Currently, Dr. St. Cyr has 18 issued patents, 16 patents pending, and numerous provisional patent submissions. Dr. St. Cyr has consulted for many medical companies, such as a surgical/medical consultant for Medtronic, Inc. (Physiological Research Laboratories, a facility of Medtronic, Inc., Minneapolis, MN), a medical/surgical consultant for NAMSA/Integra, Inc. (Minneapolis, MN), surgical consultant for NeoCardial, Inc. (Minneapolis, MN), Chief Medical Officer for RCRI, Inc. (Minneapolis, MN), ImmuMeds, Inc. (Minneapolis, MN) Time Savers Technologies (Minneapolis, MN) and Nuvaira, Inc. (Minneapolis, MN). Dr. St. Cyr is a member of many Editorial Boards, as well as a member of the Board of Directors for medical device companies.
Dr. St. Cyr is a member of numerous scientific research, medical, and surgical societies. His current interests center on applications for Heart failure, Myocardial ischemia and diastolic dysfunction, applications for Atrial fibrillation, medical/surgical applications of D-ribose, Blood storage, Dialysis, and Immune modulation.
Donald B. Wingerter
From December 2009 through January 2012, Mr. Wingerter served as chief executive officer of Ampio Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a development stage pharmaceutical company, and served as a member of the Board of Directors of Ampio from March 2010 through January 2012. Ampio is a public company (Nasdaq Capital Market: AMPE) that develops innovative proprietary drugs for metabolic disease, eye disease, kidney disease, inflammation, CNS disease, and male sexual dysfunction, with a product pipeline including new uses for previously approved drugs and new molecular entities. While Mr. Wingerter was with Ampio, its market capitalization increased from approximately $17 million to over $200 million, making Ampio the fastest growing company by market capitalization in the Russell 3000 index for the first nine months of 2011.
From 2006 until 2012, Mr. Wingerter has served as a member of the board of directors of several private companies in which he holds personal investments. From June 2002 until 2006, Mr. Wingerter was the chief executive officer of Sound Surgical Technologies, Inc., a specialty medical device company that developed and marketed proprietary ultrasonic-based products to break up and remove fat deposits from the human body.
From 1995 to 2001, Mr. Wingerter was engaged in managing his personal investments, prior to which, Mr. Wingerter was chairman of the board and chief executive officer of ClearVision Laser Centers, a company he founded in 1995 that operated centers providing laser vision correction services to consumers. ClearVision had operations in 14 states consisting of 10 centers utilizing fixed excimer lasers and 42 centers serviced by mobile lasers. In 2001, ClearVision was sold to two private equity firms providing investors with an approximate 12 fold return.
Before founding ClearVision, Mr. Wingerter served as chief executive officer and president, respectively, of Western Imaging Technologies and Accel Holdings, medical imaging companies that sold and leased magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), positron emission tomography (PET), and computer tomography (CT) imaging equipment. He also spent 11 years in various sales positions with General Electric Medical Systems, the last of which was National Sales Manager for Digital Products. Mr. Wingerter holds a B.S. degree in biology from Lafayette College and a M.S. degree in physiology from Rutgers University.

Landon Ramsey studied business management at the University of North Dakota and has a strong background in management and exhibits constant leadership skills in all endeavors. Landon has used these skills most effectively in returning from college and accepting the operational manager role of a very prosperous 52-year old family business, in which he continues to play a pivotal role in the growth and innovation.
